In our Foundation Phase Programme, children transition from play-based pre-school into formal learning with warmth, support, and excitement. At POPPS, we believe the early grades are a critical time to build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and life skills — while still nurturing curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.

Goals by the End of Foundation Phase
By the end of Grade 3, students at POPPS will:
- Read fluently and write with clarity and confidence.
- Be comfortable with foundational mathematics: number sense, basic operations, patterns, and problem solving.
- Demonstrate curiosity and the ability to explore new subjects with confidence.
- Show social skills such as cooperation, empathy, and responsibility.
- Feel ready to take on higher grades, familiar with classroom routines, self-management, and collaborative learning.
